Version 2.2.1 14th September 2007 A Better Finder Launcher fixes a minor preferences bug. Version 2.2 2nd July 2007 A Better Finder Launcher becomes freeware with this version. This acknowledges the fact that it is a niche product for people who prefer a small minimalist launcher with limited but tightly focused feature set over more generic but less focused solutions, such as QuickSilver or Mac OS X's bulit-in Spotlight feature. Existing users will be pleased to hear that development of the product will continue at much the same pace. As of today, A Better Finder Launcher will no longer be bundled in the A Better Finder tool series download, but will become a separate (optional) download available from these pages.
