Calendar Integration
Vitamin-R currently only has a limited integration with the macOS calendar system.
The “Calendar Events” view, which is optionally visible above the duration slider, shows upcoming events that may influence the duration of your time slice or timed break.
- all-day events are ignored
- events that have already begun are ignored
- only events that will start within the next 60 minutes will be displayed
- a maximum of 4 events are visualized
On recent macOS releases, the first time Vitamin-R tries to access your calendar, you will be presented with a permissions dialog. If you do not give permission no calendar events will be displayed.
If no events are displayed and you are not certain whether or not you have given permission, you can check by going to:
Apple ⇒ System Settings/ Preferences… ⇒ Security & Privacy ⇒ Calendars
Ticking the checkbox next to the Vitamin-R entry will allow the program to access all your calendars.
At present, you can’t include or exclude specific calendars. More calendar integration is planned for future releases.
