Extending Time Slices

While working in time slices of 15 to 25 minutes is optimal for most people, most of the time, there is no harm in extending a time slice just to finish something up quickly, or when you want to take full advantage of having reached a flow state.

The quickest way of extending a time slice with the mouse is to right click the (R) icon in the menu bar and to select Add 1,3,5 or 10 Minutes.

On the keyboard from any app use Control-R and choose an option; from within Vitamin-R, you can also use Command-D to Quickly Change Duration and just type the new duration or use the up and down arrow keys to modify it.

Finally, you can adjust the duration for the current time slice by using the Duration slider.
