A Better Finder Attributes 4 is a tool that allows you to change the file attributes of multiple files with a minimum of fuss.

It is especially interesting for:

  • webmasters
  • digital camera owners
  • graphic arts practitioners
  • and anybody else who often works with large collections of files.

The program allows you to change many different file attributes and offers different ways of selecting the files you want to change.

This manual is designed to explain in detail how to use the program to its full potential.

If you have not yet installed the program, download it from the download page, then follow the instructions on the installation page.

You can use the program in many different ways,the animation below illustrates a common usage scenario:

  1. launch the application by double-clicking it
  2. drag & drop the files you want to change into the file list
  3. make your changes in the dialog
  4. Click the "OK" or the "Apply" button to apply your changes
