Drag & Drop Files onto the Application Icon
Drop files or folders onto the A Better Finder Rename application icon to open them in the preview list, or pick a preset from the popup to rename them at once.
- Locate the A Better Finder Rename 12 application icon
- Select the files you want to rename in the Finder and drag them onto the A Better Finder Rename 12 application icon
The application will now launch automatically and the preview table will already contain all the selected files.
If you have created any presets, you will be given the opportunity to choose one of your presets and apply it automatically to all the files that you have dropped onto the application icon. In this case, the application performs the renaming actions stored in the preset and quits after it has finished. You can skip straight to the “normal” interactive mode in this dialog.
