User Interface ModesMacBreakZ 4 ships with two different interface modes. In the first (factory preset) mode, MacBreakZ behaves like a normal application with its own dock icon and menu bar. This is the easiest and most familiar to use. The second mode, allows you to hide the dock icon and MacBreakZ will operate as a menu bar item only. In this mode, your only interface with MacBreakZ is by clicking on the menu bar item to reveal a menu of the most frequently used commands:
Some commands may not be available from this menu and you may need to switch back to the "normal" user interface mode to see all options. Hiding the dock icon may be more convenient because you will not have to command-tab through MacBreakZ every time and it will no longer to up space in the dock. How To: Switch User Interface ModesYou can switch user interface modes, by selecting "Toggle User Interface Modes" in a menu. In the "normal" (factory preset) user interface mode, this menu item is available in the "View" menu.
the dock menu and the menu bar item menu. If you have hidden the dock item, the menu item is only available via the menu bar item menu. |
